My dude Travis (aka T-Stewart, Machinedrum, Cassette, etc) is the man. Hands down one of my favorite producers in North America, fantastic artist and great all-around person. The dude just handles everything he does with such finesse. His club night (Cassette) is by far my favorite place to play or visit in NY, and on top of that, he has broken a lot of my favorite current favorite artists. Melo-X is one of those dudes. The homie Matt B. pretty much runs the glitch rap / street bass shit in Japan. His night (Made in Glitch) is a solid party that has seen the likes of a lot of folks you would know. Him and his team are also some of the coolest people I have come across in years, and made Tokyo one of the best music-related travels I have had in some time. I guess many of you may have heard through grapevine and possibly rumor-mill, there are a bunch of things that have prevented the timely release of the Megasoid record. The lack of a website (which is now up!), updates, or any visible presence (outside of shows!) can all be attributed to those things…. we needed some time to figure out if in fact Megasoid was going to continue as a project, and if so, in what capacity.
